Pakistan Olympic Association Elections: Arif Saeed Elected President,
Fatima Lakhani SVP, Khalid Mehmood Secretary General

In the elections of the Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) for the next four-year term, Arif Saeed was elected as President, Fatima Lakhani as Senior Vice President, and Muhammad Khalid Mahmood were re-elected unopposed as Secretary General.
The elections were held at a local hotel in Lahore, where the Chairman of the Election Commission, Parvez Iqbal Mir, announced the names of the successful candidates. On this occasion, Vinod Kumar Tiwari from the International Olympic Committee and the Olympic Council of Asia participated online as an observer.
Other elected office-bearers include Aamir Jan, Majid Wasim, Ishrat Ashraf, and Andaleeb Sandhu as Vice Presidents, while Muhammad Jahangir was elected as Deputy Secretary General. Ahmad Malik was elected as Secretary Finance. For the positions of Associate Secretaries General, Aisam-ul-Haq, Wajid Ali, and Tehmina Asif were declared successful.
Representatives for Olympic sports include Hafiz Imran Butt, Muhammad Arshad Sattar, and Sadaf Akram. Samira Sattar, Sana Ali, and Amna Tanveer were elected as members of the Executive Committee.
Outgoing President Syed Abid Qadri was praised for his services to the Pakistan Olympic movement. On this occasion, newly elected President Arif Saeed stated that his success is the success of the entire Olympic family.
