Pakistan Women’s U19 team departs for Malaysia

Karachi, 10 January 2025:

The Pakistan Women’s U19 team has departed for Malaysia from Karachi to take part in the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025.

The 15 member squad will make a stop in Dubai on their way to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Wicketkeeper-batter Komal Khan will lead Pakistan in the mega event. Pakistan are placed in Group B along with England, Ireland and United States of America (USA).

Pakistan will take on USA in their opening fixture on 18 January followed by their game against England on 20 January. Pakistan’s last Group B match is against Ireland on 22 January.

“We have prepared well for the World Cup and all the players are eager to do well.

“Hopefully the team will perform to their best during the tournament and we’ll reap rewards for all the hardwork done in the camp.”
