Omega Club Clinches Title at Karachi Basketball Championship 2025

Karachi – Omega Club has claimed victory in the Karachi Basketball Championship 2025 after defeating Mambas Club in an electrifying final match with a final score of 54-48 points.

The championship, held at LOB Basketball Courts Korangi Chapter, Karachi brought together top teams from across the city, displaying intense competition and remarkable skill of game.

Taimoor led Omega Club with 13 points, while Ans Azher contributed 12 points to secure the win. On the opposing side, Mambas Club fought valiantly, with Kenneth scoring 14 points and Zain Ali adding 12 points.

Following the match, Ans Azher of Omega Club expressed their joy, stating, “This victory is a result of our relentless dedication and teamwork. We are proud to bring this title home.”

The event was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Bilal Sabir of Pakistan People’s Party , who commended both teams for their sportsmanship and pledged his support for the growth of basketball in Karachi.

Ashfaq Ahmed Chairman Scrutiny Committee, Waseem ur Rehman Member, Muhammad Yaqoob Ex – President Karachi Basketball Association, Raza Agha, Azeem Uz Shaan and Muhammad Yaqoob Qadri were also present at the Final match.

Omega Club’s triumph in this prestigious tournament reaffirms its dominance in the city’s basketball scene and sets the stage for future success.

Earlier, Karachi Basketball Championship 2025 has reached its final stage, with Omega Club and Mambas Club advancing after securing dominant wins in their respective semi-final matches at LOB BASKETBALL COURT.

In the first semi-final, Omega Club displayed a commanding performance against Raiders, winning 58-39. Usman led Omega with 12 points, while Ahad contributed 7 points. Despite Raiders’ loss, Uzair put up a strong fight with 14 points, and Humam added 9 points.

The second semi-final witnessed an intense battle between Mambas Club and Mavericks, where Mambas emerged victorious with a hard-fought 43-37 points win. Saad Khan and Kenneth both scored 10 points each, while Ammar added 8 points for Mambas. On the other side, Hamza Khawaja led Mavericks with 12 points, followed by Tayyab with 11 points.

Speaking after the semi-finals, Ans Azher of Omega Club said, “This victory is a testament to our hard work and commitment. We are excited to compete in the final.” Mambas Club’s Kenith echoed similar sentiments, stating,

“We’ve battled hard to get here, and we are ready to fight for the championship.”Ghulam Muhammad Memon, Yousuf Khan, Amir Ghayaas, Amil Khan, Jamil Shaikh and Syed Arbab Ali were the Referees.
