Lahore Qalandars Announce Kit Design Competition
Lahore, 5 March 2025: Lahore Qalandars is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking Kit Design Competition, inviting young designers and fans to contribute to shaping the team’s identity for the upcoming season.
This initiative is more than just a design challenge — it aims to involve the talented youth of this country, foster creativity, and strengthen the bond between the franchise and its passionate supporters.
Aspiring designers, students, and fans will have a unique opportunity to contribute to the team’s legacy. Lahore Qalandars especially encourage participation from fashion schools in Lahore to showcase the rising talent in the city.
The competition is open to everyone with no limits, just pure creativity. All participants are required to submit 100% original designs using the official color palette and logo available via a shared drive link (details in caption).
The competition will be overseen by Mehmood Bhatti, the renowned Pakistani-French fashion designer, who will guide the process and help identify the best designs. As the head of the jury,
he will play a pivotal role in evaluating submissions and selecting the most outstanding design. Under his expert supervision, participants will gain invaluable insights into professional fashion design and kit aesthetics.
Shortlisted designs will be put to a public vote, allowing fans to have their say in selecting the final kit — making this truly a jersey designed by the people, for the people.
The winner will not only see their design come to life but will also receive career mentorship from Mehmood Bhatti, a special reward, and an exclusive VIP experience in the owners’ dugout during a PSL match.
Participants can submit their designs via email to contact@lahoreqalandars.com along with a brief explanation of the inspiration behind their design.
They are also encouraged to share their entries on social media by tagging Lahore Qalandars with #LQKitDesignContest. The deadline for submissions is March 25, 2025 — before 4:00 PM (PST).
To further inspire creativity, Lahore Qalandars’ star players will visit fashion schools in Lahore, sharing insights on what makes a great sportswear design and motivating students to bring their vision to life.
