Azmat Pasha and Sagheer Hussain are two unsung heroes of hockey in Karachi, Pakistan. As the founder-secretary and founder-president of Al Sagheer Hockey Club, respectively, they have dedicated their lives to promoting hockey and nurturing young talent.
Their tireless efforts have borne fruit, with numerous national and international players emerging from the club. Notably, Junaid Aslam, a product of Al Sagheer Hockey Club, has become a renowned hockey player and coach.
Junaid Aslam’s dedication and hard work have significantly promoted hockey in Karachi. He currently runs a hockey academy in North Karachi, providing training and guidance to young enthusiasts. Additionally, he serves as a coordinator for the Khawaja Izhar ul Hassan , President
of the Karachi Hockey Association (KHA).
