New Zealand defeated Pakistan by 84 runs in the second ODI match of the series against Pakistan and took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. In the second match of the series played in Hamilton,
New Zealand batted first and scored 292 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs.
