Exciting Competitions Continue on the Third Day of DeraJat

On third day of the DeraJat 2025, organized by Sports and Youth Affairs Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, witnessed a series of thrilling events including Javelin Throw, Wrestling, Kabaddi, Stone Lifting, Sack Lifting and many more. In addition,

the Pet Show continued to captivate audiences with a spectacular display of domestic animals. The event was attended by a large crowd, including Tehsil Mayor Omar Amin Khan Gundapur,

officials and staff from the Sports Department, Regional Sports Officer Raziullah Betani, Deputy Director of Sports Operations Jamshed Baloch, District Sports Officer Faisal Habib and many others.

In Javelin Throw, over 150 riders from various clubs across Pakistan showcased their skills, with the competitions continuing at the Ratta Kulachi Stadium in Dera Ismail Khan. Similarly, thrilling matches in wrestling, Doda (traditional wrestling) and Kabaddi continued to draw large crowds.

In the Kabaddi event, Aslam Pehlwan from Chodwan displayed remarkable performance, while Capt. Sanjay, Khaira, Patak, Israr and Rafiq Pehlwans also impressed with their exceptional skills.

The Kabaddi competitions featured teams from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while in Stone Lifting, competitors successfully lifted weights of up to 122 kg, and the Sack Lifting event included a 500 kg category. In Tug of War, 44 pairs of wrestlers, comprising over 100 participants, competed against each other.

In the upcoming wrestling matches, Asia’s Champion and World Champion Inam Butt will face off against Pattha Bhola on April 8th at 3 PM, followed by a match between Pakistan’s Pride Asif Mochi and Basit Maara, the Pride of Bahawalpur.

To ensure the success of this grand historical and cultural event, media coverage arrangements have been meticulously organized.

Additionally, medical camps and all necessary facilities have been provided for the safety and convenience of the participants and spectators. Various information and food stalls have been set up to enhance the public’s experience at the historical Dera Jat 2025.

The event is being closely monitored by National Assembly Member Faisal Amin Gandapur and Dera Ismail Khan Mayor Omar Amin Khan Gundapur to ensure the smooth conduct and excitement of the games.

The DeraJat Festival continues to attract a large number of visitors who are enjoying the festivities.It has been a staple of Dera Ismail Khan for many years, offers entertainment to the people of Pakistan, particularly benefiting the regions of Dera Ismail Khan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bhakkar, and Darya Khan.
