Colts PB outpace Fighters Momi’s Cheetah in Ecostar Lahore Polo Super League’s second phase

LAHORE : The Colts PB outpaced Fighters Momi’s Cheetah 6-4½ on the second day of the second phase of the Ecostar Lahore Polo Club Super League 2025 at the Lahore Polo Club on Thursday.

A good number of spectators and families turned up to enjoy the action-packed polo clash, held under the banner of Ecostar. Among those present at the event were Club President Malik Azam Hayat Noon, executive committee members, club members, and the secretary.

For the winning side, Sardar Mohsin Atta Khan Khosa showcased brilliant form by netting four goals, while Abdul Rehman Monnoo added two more. On the opposing team, all four goals were scored by Taimoor Noon in a valiant effort.

The Fighters Momi’s Cheetah opened the match with an early field goal, setting the tone for an intense battle. However, The Colts PB quickly responded with a stylish comeback, firing in a brilliant brace to take a 2-1 lead by the end of the first chukker. They maintained their momentum in the second chukker, adding two more goals to extend their advantage to 4-1.

The third chukker saw further dominance from Colts PB as they struck once again to make it 5-1. Just when the game seemed to be slipping away, The Fighters Momi’s Cheetah staged a commendable comeback with two quick goals, narrowing the gap to 3-5.

The fourth and final chukker witnessed balanced action from both sides, with each team scoring once. Despite a half-goal handicap in favour of Fighters Momi’s Cheetah, Colts PB sealed a well-deserved 6-4½ victory, showcasing superior teamwork and strategy throughout the match.

As for upcoming fixtures, today (Friday), The Warriors Ecostar will take on The Fighters Momi’s Cheetah at 3:15 pm, followed by The King Guard Group facing The Gladiators IS/Platinum Homes at 4:15 pm.
