PSL 10: Karachi Kings defeat Multan Sultans by 4 wickets

In the third match of the tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League, Karachi Kings defeated Multan Sultans by 4 wickets with the help of James Vince’s aggressive century and Khushdil Shah’s half-century. Multan Sultans, with the help of captain Muhammad Rizwan’s unbeaten aggressive century, gave Karachi Kings a target of 235 runs to win.

In pursuit of the target, Karachi Kings suffered their first loss for 44 runs when David Warner returned to the pavilion after scoring 12 runs.

The second and third wickets also fell for 52 runs, while Karachi Kings had to bear their fourth loss for 79 runs, when Arafat Minhas was dismissed after scoring just 10 runs.

After this, James Vince and Khushdil Shah made a partnership of 142 runs off 68 balls for Karachi Kings and played an important role in the victory, however, on this occasion James Vince was run out after scoring a brilliant aggressive century,

he scored 101 runs off just 43 balls with the help of 4 sixes and 14 fours. Khushdil Shah also played a good innings of 60 runs off 37 balls, his innings also included 4 sixes and 5 fours. Thus, Karachi Kings achieved the target of 235 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs.

In the match being played at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi, Karachi Kings captain David Warner won the toss and invited Multan Sultans to bat.

Multan Sultans’ captain Mohammad Rizwan and Shai Hope opened the innings. Shai Hope fell to Hasan Ali after scoring just 8 runs, while Usman Khan also lost his wicket after scoring 19 runs. However, at this point, Multan Sultans had scored 82 runs for 2 wickets in just 9 overs.

Kamran Ghulam came into the field to bat at number four, and together with captain Mohammad Rizwan, they took the team’s total score to 145 runs in the 15th over. However, at this point, Kamran Ghulam lost courage after scoring an aggressive 36 runs off 19 balls. His innings included a six and 5 fours.

Michael Bracewell came to the crease to support Mohammad Rizwan and, while batting brilliantly, played an unbeaten innings of 44 runs off just 17 balls with the help of 3 sixes and 5 fours.

At the other end, captain Rizwan also appeared in an aggressive mood today and remained unbeaten on 105 runs off 63 balls with 5 sixes and 9 fours. Thus, in 20 overs, Multan Sultans scored 234 runs for the loss of 3 wickets and set Karachi Kings a target of 235 runs to win.
