Pakistan Juniors Participate in The Royal Junior Golf Championship, Japan

The Pakistan Golf Federation is proud to announce that two talented junior golfers, Shahmeer Maajid and Sara Amin Khan, represented Pakistan in The Royal Junior Golf Championship held in Japan from 18th to 20th April 2025.

This prestigious event featured some of the top under-18 junior golfers from across Asia and was conducted under the auspices of the R&A, Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation (APGC), and Nippon Kabaya Ohayo Holdings Inc.

Shahmeer Maajid, competing in the Boys Under-18 category, finished 37th on the final leaderboard with a total score of 24 over par. Despite a tough field and challenging conditions, Shahmeer displayed resilience and determination throughout all three rounds.

Sara Amin Khan, competing in the Girls Under-18 category, secured the 42nd position with a final score of 30 over par. Her participation in this high-level international event marks a significant step forward in her golfing career.

The Pakistan Golf Federation commends both juniors for their commitment, sportsmanship, and for proudly representing Pakistan on an international platform.

PGF remains committed to nurturing junior talent and will continue to provide opportunities and exposure to young golfers through international competitions and development programs.
