Pakistan team arrives in Thailand for the participation in 4th BFA Women’s Baseball Asian Cup Qualifier 2025
Pakistan Women’s Baseball Team along-with Team Leader Syed Fakhar Ali Shah (Secretary General PFB)and Team officials were seen off at Karachi Airport by the officials of Sindh Baseball Association.
The Pakistan Women’s Baseball along-with Team Leader Syed Fakhar Ali Shah and other officials has arrived in Thailand for the participation in 4th BFA Women’s Baseball Asian Cup – Qualifier 2025.
The team was seen off at Karachi Airport by the officials of Sindh Baseball Association Mr. Perwaiz Ahmad and Miss Ayesha Irum. On this occasion, Team Leader Syed Fakhar Ali Shah,
Taem Manager and Coaches including Syed Akhtar Hussain Shah, Umair Imdad Bhatti, Nadeem Sajjad Shah and Senior Umpire Muhammad Zubair Wattoo and the team were presented with Ajrak and bouquets.
Pervaiz Ahmed Sheikh, while giving a congratulatory message on behalf of the President of Sindh Baseball Association, presented a special bouquet to Syed Fakhar Ali Shah.
Later, while talking to the media, Syed Fakhar Ali Shah thanked everyone for their love and assured his every possible cooperation for the promotion of baseball in Sindh. He said that the team has reached Thailand with full preparations and is determined to perform at its best.
In the event, Pakistan’s Group A includes India, Sri Lanka and Iran, while Group B includes hosts Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia and Indonesia. The event will be held from April 23 to April 29.
The Pakistan team will play a match against India on April 24. India is ahead of Pakistan in the women’s rankings, but a tough competition is expected.
The top three teams of this event will qualify for the Asian Championship. Meanwhile, coordinator Aamir Imdad Bhatti will leave for Thailand from Lahore today and will join the team.
