In the 27th match of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, Karachi Kings defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 23 runs and qualified for the playoffs. In the match played in Rawalpindi,

Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and decided to field against Karachi Kings. Batting first, Karachi Kings scored 237 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Karachi Kings captain David Warner scored 86 and James Vince scored 72 runs. Khushdil Shah scored 43 and Muhammad Nabi remained not out after scoring 26 runs.

Luke Wood dismissed 2 players for Peshawar Zalmi, Ali Raza and Arif Yaqoob took one wicket each. In response to the target of 238 runs, Peshawar Zalmi’s team could score 214 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. Peshawar Zalmi were led by Babar Azam with 94 and Saim Ayub with 47 runs.

Karachi Kings have qualified for the playoffs after the victory, while Quetta Gladiators have already qualified for the playoffs. Islamabad United have 10 points after 9 matches,

while Lahore Qalandars have 9 points after 9 matches and Multan Sultans have been eliminated from the event. It should be noted that the Pakistan Cricket Board had postponed the PSL indefinitely due to Pakistan-India tensions and the PCB had safely evacuated all foreign players from Pakistan.

Later, the PCB released the schedule of the remaining matches under which the last 4 matches of the league will be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, while the Gaddafi Stadium Lahore will host the play-off stage, including the final.
