Rawalpindi : By Nawaz Gohar ; Provincial Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Culture Punjab Shazia Rizwan has said that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has succeeded in bringing youth to the field of sports and in the future, young players of Punjab will make Pakistan famous in international sports.
This was said by Provincial Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Culture Punjab Shazia Rizwan while addressing the participants as the special guest at the opening ceremony of badminton.
The Parliamentary Secretary for Information said that the aim of sports is to strengthen the youth mentally and physically along with education. Such activities are the guarantors of the development and good health of our talented young men and women and the Punjab government is providing sports facilities for the youth.
Shazia Rizwan highly appreciated the sports of the players and said that the gathering of such a large number of players today is a sign of Punjab moving forward with the sports of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. The success of the vision is a clear proof.
Remember that the Summer Games 2025 Inter-District Competitions at the Divisional Level have been organized in Rawalpindi.
On the instructions of Provincial Sports Minister Punjab Faisal Khokho, badminton, kabaddi and various sports competitions will continue in Rawalpindi Division from June 1 to June 5.
Provincial Parliamentary Secretary Information and Culture Punjab Shazia Rizwan inaugurated the badminton competitions as the special guest at the Sports Complex Liaquat Bagh. On this occasion,
Divisional Sports Officer Waheed Ahmed and District Sports Officer Shams Tohid Abbasi welcomed Parliamentary Secretary Information and Culture Punjab Shazia Rizwan.
Badminton teams from different districts of Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum and Rawalpindi have participated in the sports competitions.
