Hasnain Pardasi, Tariq Ali Elected Chairman and President of Sindh Ju-Jitsu Association

KARACHI, June 20: Hasnain Pardasi and Tariq Ali have been elected as Chairman and President, respectively, of the Sindh Ju-Jitsu Association (SJJA) for the term 2025–2028.

The elections took place during the General Council Elective Meeting held on Friday at the Dewa Complex, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi, under the chairmanship of outgoing President Mr. Tariq Ali.

The electoral process was overseen by official observers from key governing bodies, including Mr. Maraj Muhammad Khan of the Pakistan Ju-Jitsu Federation (PJJF), Mr. Ahmed Ali Rajput of the Sindh Olympic Association (SOA), and Mr. Ismail Shah from the Sindh Sports Board (SSB). Representatives from all affiliated divisions participated in the meeting, which also unanimously approved the activity calendar for 2025–2026 along with other key agenda items.

The newly elected office-bearers for the 2025–2028 term are as follows:
• Patron-in-Chief: H.E. Ateeq Baqeet Al Romati
• Chairman: Hasnain Pardasi
• President: Tariq Ali
• Senior Vice President: Iqbal Kham
• Vice Presidents: Dr. Ucksy Mallick, Aman Pir, Sadia Khan, Rizwan Ahmed Lodhi
• General Secretary: Saad Ullah Khan
• Associate Secretaries: Sundus Khan, Roshan Karra
• Treasurer: Adnan Aziz Khan
• Media Director: Naseem Rajput
• Technical Director: Abu Hurraira
• Public Relations Secretary: Isra Waseem
• Executive Members: Irfan Hussain Solangi, Noor Tasneef Khan, Zuraiz Akhter

The newly elected leadership expressed their strong commitment to promoting Ju-Jitsu across Sindh. In his address, President Tariq Ali thanked the house for its trust and confidence in his leadership.

He outlined a comprehensive vision to expand the reach of Ju-Jitsu at the grassroots level by initiating youth leagues for both boys and girls across the province.

Additionally, SJJA announced plans to organize regular training camps throughout Sindh, in collaboration with national and provincial stakeholders.

Expert-led referee and coaching workshops, as well as anti-doping awareness seminars, will be conducted with the support of the Pakistan Ju-Jitsu Federation (PJJF), Sindh Sports Board, and Sindh Olympic Association.

The association aims to continue fostering discipline, health, and sporting excellence through the development of Ju-Jitsu in the province.
