In a meeting held at Iqbal Stadium of Sports Journalists Association Faisalabad (SJAF), Malik Jamil Siraj was unanimously elected President while Arsalan Durrani was elected General Secretary.
A large number of SJAF members present in the General House meeting,meanwhile Muhammad Naseem Shah (Senior Vice President), Rida Sindhu and Tahir Shahzad (Vice Presidents )Syed Sadaqat Ali Shah and Shahroz Ibad (Joint Secretaries)Mian Imran Hameed (Finance Secretary ) Abdul Majid ( Information Secretary) elected. Earlier,
the General House was presided over by Chairman Ad Hoc Committee Malik Jamil Siraj. Other members of the Ad Hoc Committee, Muhammad Naseem Shah and Shahroz Ibad, were also present on the occasion.
The newly elected President Malik Jamil Siraj nominated Muhammad Khalil Bazmi, Dilbar Khan Khattak, Muhammad Hamza, Dr. Muhammad Hussain as members of the Executive Body, while the remaining executive members will be elected soon .
The participants of the General House congratulated the newly elected office bearers. Speaking on the occasion, Malik Jamil Siraj, Arsalan Durrani, Muhammad Naseem Shah, Shahroz Ibad and other office bearers reiterated their strong commitment to the promotion of sports and sports journalism.
