Karachi Hockey Association Hosts Successful 35th National Games Trials
Karachi : The Karachi Hockey Association (KHA) recently conducted the 35th National Games trials at the Olympian Hanif Khan & Dr. Junaid Ali Shah KHA Sports Complex, Main University Road, Karachi.
The trials were conducted under the supervision of Selection Committee Chairman Olympian Iftekhar Syed, with a panel comprising Olympian Waseem Feroz, International Laiq Lashari, International Tasleem Usmani, International player Salaman Sheikh, Ms. Mahya Moin, Ms. Sameera Naseem, and Ms. Batool Kazim. District Sports Officer Ismail Shah also oversaw the trials.
President Karachi Hockey Association Syed Imtiaz Ali Shah attended the trials, wishing the players good luck and motivating them to perform their best during the trials and the National Games. President Asma Ali Shah, KHA Women Wing, was also present to encourage the Karachi Girls players.
More than 100 boys players appeared for the trials, with 48 boys selected from Karachi Region. A total of 50 girls participated in the trials, with 24 talented players shortlisted for the Sindh Team Trials.

The final trials for Sindh Girls will be on 11th October 2025, 3:00 pm, Saturday, whereas Sindh Boys teams trials will be on Sunday, 12 October 2025, at 3:00 pm, at the same venue.
