Faysal Bank and Patients’ Aid Foundation Unite for Women’s Health at Bike-a-Cause 2025

Karachi – Faysal Bank Limited (FBL), in collaboration with Patients’ Aid Foundation (PAF), participated in the second edition of Bike-A-Cause 2025, a community-driven cycling event aimed at supporting women battling breast cancer.

The initiative reflects Faysal Bank’s ongoing commitment to wellbeing, women empowerment, and social responsibility.

Bike-A-Cause is a fundraising initiative that brings together the corporate sector and cycling community to champion the fight against breast cancer.

Breast cancer remains one of Pakistan’s most critical health challenges, with 1 in 9 women at risk. Over 83,000 new cases are reported annually, and nearly 40,000 lives are lost due to late diagnosis and limited access to treatment.

In response, Patients’ Aid Foundation is establishing advanced diagnostic and treatment facilities at JPMC, including Pakistan’s first women-led Breast Cancer Bay offering free, cutting-edge radiation therapy with zero cardiac risk.

Cyclists gathered at the Sindhi Muslim Roundabout and rode a 5-kilometer route to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), in solidarity, demonstrating their support for Faysal Bank and Patients’ Aid Foundation’s shared commitment to breast cancer awareness.

The initiative, aligned with breast cancer awareness month, aimed to spotlight the importance of early detection and accessible treatment, with all proceeds directed towards supporting patients in need of life-saving care.

Senior management from Faysal Bank actively took part in the event, reinforcing the Bank’s dedication to causes that promote health and community care. The shield distribution ceremony was held at the CyberKnife facility at JPMC, where participants were recognized for their support and solidarity.

Faysal Bank remains committed to supporting impactful health initiatives, recognizing that corporate responsibility extends beyond business—to building a future where access to quality care is a shared priority.
