ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 schedule announced
The ICC has released the official schedule for T20 World Cup 2026. Pakistan will kick off their campaign on February 7 against the Netherlands in Colombo.
The much-anticipated India vs Pakistan contest, their first meeting since the 2025 Asia Cup, will take place on February 15 at the iconic R Premadasa Stadium, where atmosphere and anticipation are guaranteed to reach fever pitch.
The tournament will run until March 8, when the final will be played to crown the T20 World Cup champions.Fans can look forward to exciting matches across the tournament from February 7 to March 8.
Meanwhile, the group stage will feature three matches per day, promising nonstop action for fans across the world. While India will play across different venues, Pakistan is set to play all of its matches in Colombo or Kandy, giving their supporters a clear travel map as they follow the team through Sri Lanka.
With the schedule now out, excitement is building as teams prepare to chase T20 cricket’s biggest prize under subcontinental lights. Who will emerge as the new victor will be decided on February 15 in Colombo.
The event will follow the same successful format used in 2024, when India lifted the trophy in Barbados. Twenty teams have been divided into four groups of five, with the top two from each progressing to the Super Eights, where teams will be placed according to pre-determined seedings.
