On the issue of the series with Pakistan, the Indian board once again threw the ball in the court of its government. Following the recent easing of political tensions between Pakistan and India, there have been rumors circulating in recent days that the way is being paved for rivalries between the neighboring countries and a T20 series is likely to be held this year. It has also been asked to be ready for possible matches.
Yesterday, BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla said in clear words that there was no discussion with Pakistan regarding the bilateral series at present.
He said that in the last 10 years, the position of Indian Cricket Board has been the same that there can be no bilateral series with Pakistan unless our government gives permission.
