World cycling chief David Lappartient has been elected as the new president of France’s Olympic Committee.
He replaces Brigitte Henriques, who resigned unexpectedly last month. Lappartient has held the position of president of the International Cycling Union since 2017 and became a member of the International Olympic Committee last year. congratulations to Mr. David Lappartient on his election as the President of the National Olympic Committee of France. Mr. Lappartient’s leadership will be instrumental in overseeing the organization of the Olympic Games in Paris 2024.
