Multan Sultans beat Lahore Qalandars by 5 wickets in the seventh match of Akistan Super League Season 9,

defending champions Lahore Qalandars suffered their third consecutive defeat in the event.

Lahore Qalandars batted first and scored 166 runs in the allotted 20 overs, Van Dusen scored 54 runs on behalf of Lahore Qalandars, Fakhar Zaman scored 41 runs and Sikandar Raza scored 23 runs.

On behalf of Multan Sultans, captain Muhammad Rizwan played an innings of 82 runs, Iftikhar Ahmed played a stormy innings of 34 runs off 11 balls and played a significant role in bringing success to his team.

On behalf of Lahore Qalandars, Shaheen Afridi and Zaman Khan took 2, 2 while George Linde took one wicket.
