Trials for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Table Tennis Team Scheduled for November 22-23,

PESHAWAR: The formation of teams for the third Quaid-e-Azam Games, set to be held in Islamabad, has begun. In this regard, trials for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) table tennis team will be conducted on Friday, November 22, and Saturday, November 23.
Speaking to the media, Secretary of the KP Table Tennis Association, Ahmad Nawaz Malizai, announced the schedule for the trials, organized under the supervision of the provincial sports department.
The event aims to identify talented players to represent the province in the prestigious games, hosted by the Pakistan Sports Board at the Jinnah Sports Complex, Islamabad.
A selection committee comprising Senior Vice President Kifayatullah, Secretary Ahmad Nawaz Malizai, and table tennis coach Aamna Muhammad has been formed to ensure a transparent selection process.
Only players under 22 years of age are eligible to participate in the trials. From the shortlisted candidates, eight male and eight female players will be selected for the provincial team.
“Our objective is to prepare a strong and capable team that will not only compete with excellence in the Quaid-e-Azam Games but also bring glory to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by winning medals,” said Malizai.
He further expressed hope that the selected players would perform with determination and showcase the true potential of the province on a national platform.
