Para National Taekwondo Championship from 27th April

Lahore:-The Para Athletes and officials will arrive at the Lahore on 26 April 2018 for the NURPUR Para National Taekwondo Championship 2018 which begin with an impressive and uniquely Taekwondo-style Opening Ceremony on  27^th of April, 2018. The event will be held at WAPDA Sports Complex, Indoor Hall at Lahore. The main purpose to conduct the said event is to give awareness of Para Taekwondo at National Level as well as to boost these athletes because disability is not inability. Moreso, it’s one of the noble cause to support such athletes who not only bring good name of our country at National Level but also at International Arena. The joyous celebration of impactful sporting celebration, personal development and friendship of special athletes from all over the country, mostly aged 18-25, aiming for 25 Gold, 25 Silver and 50 Bronze Medals in this Mega Event of Para Taekwondo.  The best athlete of the event will participate in Asian Para Championship May 2018 at Vietnam. The demonstration teams will also show their skills to make this Mega Event more colorful. Special Cash Prizes and trophies will also be given to the successful participants.

The said event is being patronage by Lt Gen Javed Iqbal, HI (M), Patron Pakistan Taekwondo Federation. The event is being sponsored by NURPUR (Fauji Foods) alongwith co-sponsors Butterfly LED, Kareem, Starpak, Gem Prints, Nizam Packages and Ahmed Packages.
