Having served as the former Manager of the Pakistan National Cricket Team, Mr. Zaidi utilized his leadership prowess not only to keep the squad organized but to forge unbreakable bonds with the players. It is this unique rapport that earned him the affectionate title, “The Captain of Captains”, a rare and extraordinary distinction for any manager.
His tenure as Senior Vice President of the Lahore Region Cricket Association (LRCA) was exemplary, while his multiple terms as President of the West Zone Cricket Association brought much-needed stability to the institution.

As one of Khawaja Nadeem Ahmed’s most trusted allies, he remains a cornerstone of the group’s strategic success.
Throughout his career, Azhar Hussain Zaidi has managed various outfits, including the Lahore Region, Punjab, and the Pakistan Shaheens. Under his stewardship, these teams became benchmarks for discipline, unity, and professional excellence.
