Zulfiqar, Ali win Pakistan edition of World Corporate Golf Challenge

KARACHI: Capitalising the first day’s lead of 9-under, the team of Ali Maniya and Zulfiqar continued with their superb form on the second day to emerge as new winners of World Corporate Golf Challenge Pakistan edition.

The duo started the second day of play at DHA Gold Club as the leaders on the board and continued to display their golf skills despite the windy condition to add an under-5 score to their tally and finish with an overall net score of 274 (14-under) to win the championship.

With this win, Ali and Zulfiqar have also qualified for next year’s world final of World Corporate Golf Challenge to be held in Portugal.

They are now aiming to raise Pakistan’s flag in the global event.
