ISLAMABAD: The Pakistani Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that due to the efforts of the civil-military leadership it is now possible to hold sports events peacefully.The Pakistani Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that Pakistan has turned peaceful now which has made it possible to hold national level sports events.The prime minister was addressing the participants of the Quaid-e-Azam inter-provincial games’ ending ceremony here on Friday. The Pakistani Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that approval has been given for the establishment of a sports university in the country.
While congratulating the participants, the Pakistani Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi urged the youth to clinch medals at the Olympics for the country.
In the same vein, Pakistani Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi told the youth that apart from the medals, it is equally important to have participation in the international sports events.

The first event of Quaid-e-Azam Inter Provincial Youth Games in Islamabad. President Mamnoon Hussain opens the first edition. Punjab emerged as champions of the first edition of Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Provincial Games which concluded at the Pakistan Sports Complex in Islamabad.
