LONDON: – Real Madrid strike Christiano Ronaldo has become the first player to score more than 100 goals in Champions League history.

The Portuguese forward converted a first-half penalty against Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their last-16 tie at the Santiago Bernabeu to takehis Champions League tally into triple figures for Real Madrid.

The 33-year-old has 115 goals in Europe’s premier club competition in total with 15 of those coming during his time at Manchester United.
