Pakistan Taekwondo team will participate in junior world championship

Islamabad:- National Team of Taekwondo will participate in Hammamet Youth Olympics Qualification and Junior World Taekwondo Championships to be held from 4 to 14 April 2018 at Tunisia. Following officials / players will attend the said event:-

Master Sung Jae Lee, Head Coach

Najia Rasool, Assistant Coach

Muhammad Nadir Khan, Team Trainer

Naqsh Hamdani, Female Athlete

Shehzad Ali, Male Athlete

Ahmad Khan, Male Athlete

Abdullah, Male Athlete

Aamar Ashfaq, Male Athlete

It is added that President PTF has briefed the Lt Gen (Retd) Javed Iqbal, HI (M), CE&MD FFBL and Patron PTF regarding this event and also highlighted the previous International participation of National Team. Patron appreciated the performance being displayed by Pakistani Officials / Athletes in UAE and Malaysia. He proudly announced monthly scholarship for following Young Junior Athletes who brought laurel for the country:-

Hira Safdar
Essha Safdar

He also congratulated to Federation on their marvelous achievement in which Miss Najia Rasool got Presidential Pride of Performance Award on 23rd March 2018 and also announced monthly scholarship as well as Brand Ambassador of FFBL.

PTF is also highly obliged to Pakistan Sports Board and Inter Provincial Coordination for continues support by providing Government NOC as well as financial grant for this prestigious event.

Lt Col Raja Wasim Ahmed (R), President Pakistan Taekwondo Federation will also attend the World Taekwondo General Assembly on behalf of Pakistan during this event. The contingent will move to Tunisia on 3rd April 2018.

The main aim for participation in this Mega Event is to give exposure to our athletes and also bring soft image of Pakistan as approximately 188 member countries are participating in this event.
