Gold Coast :-Wales’ youngest ever representative in the Commonwealth Games made a winning start on her Gold Coast debut.

Cardiff’s Anna Hursey made headline news in January when selected to represent Wales at table tennis, in Queensland, Australia at the tender age of 11.

And the wonder kid made a stunning start to the Games alongside Charlotte Carey as Wales sealed a 3-2 victory over India in the doubles.

“My aim is to win any medal. But my dream is to win a gold medal at the Olympic Games,” said Anna.

Anna started playing the sport when she was just five years old, but now table tennis is an everyday part of life.
