All Pakistan Rugby 10s tournament kicks off from 7 April

Islamabad: The famous mega Rugby event All Pakistan 10’s Rugby Tournament starts April 7 at Sports Complex Islamabad. ” This year more than  20 teams from all over the country will participate in the event including women and under 16 teams “…said Raja Shahzad Sultan of Islamabad Rugby Association. He further added that since many years Islamabad Rugby Association with the help and support of PRU and the respective sponcers hosting this mega event in Islamabad witness a significant increase in participating players of specially youth and women. ” Such a positive response of youth into Rugby shows that All Pakistan  10s is becoming a major help in taking Rugby to the grassroots of the country and every year the volume of participating teams is an overwhelming factor for us “,Raja added. The grand finale of the tournament will be played on Sunday while Pak Army will try to defend the title. “Beauty of the All Pakistan 10’s Rugby tournament is when spectators can watch live full-contact action of the toughest and most famous teams like Pak Army, Islamabad Rugby Jinns and LRFC at the same time, The participating teams from far areas of Pakistan will be playing face to face which will definitely  give there players the confidence and exposure to improve there skills.”, Raja. added more.
