Australia beat England in the third T20,aovid whitewash

Australia defeated England by 5 wickets in the third and final T20 International to save themselves from the Whitewash.

In the match played in Southampton, Australia won the toss and invited England to bat. Johnny Barstow of the host team scored the most 55 runs while Joe Danley scored 29 and Moin Ali scored 23 runs.

England scored 145 for 6 in the allotted overs. Australian bowler Adam Zampa took 2 wickets.

Australia started well in pursuit of the target and its first wicket fell at 31 runs.

Australia captain Erin Finch was the top scorer with 39 runs while Mitchell Marsh also remained unbeaten on 39 runs.

Australia achieved the target of 146 runs 3 balls earlier and saved themselves from being whitewashed in the series.

Adil Rashid took 3 wickets for England.

It should be noted that in the first two matches of the three-match series, England had already won the series by defeating Australia.
