Sports Circles Demand Accountability for Fake Document Recruits in Merged Districts

In a significant call for action, sports circles are demanding that individuals recruited with fraudulent documents in the merged districts be held accountable.

The demand stems from concerns about the authenticity of the recruitment process and the integrity of sports management in the region.

Under scrutiny are the documents of all sports managers and coaches who were appointed based on recommendations from area elders? It is imperative, according to these circles, that these documents are thoroughly examined to ensure the legitimacy of the recruitment process.

With the administration of the merged districts now falling under the purview of the Sports Directorate, seniority lists of employees are also being compiled. This development emphasizes the need for transparency and fairness in the recruitment process.

The focus, therefore, is on coaches who secured positions through the submission of counterfeit credentials and have contributed little to the sports community. These individuals, whose claims of qualification and experience have proven false, should face legal action for forgery. In this regard, legal cases under Section 420 are being proposed.
Highlighting the past practices in FATA, it has been observed that individuals without any notable achievements or international recognition were chosen to represent the region. Furthermore, the Sports Directorate extended permanent positions to individuals who were originally appointed on recommendations.

This shift in their employment status raises concerns about the thoroughness of the selection process.
The call for accountability echoes through the very calculation of daily wages in the sports directorate. Just as meticulous calculations were carried out for legitimate employees, those who secured their positions through deceitful means must also face repercussions.

The Director General of Sports in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is being urged to address this issue promptly and decisively. The demand for transparency, fairness, and authenticity in sports recruitment resonates strongly within the sports circles, as they advocate for a system that upholds the true spirit of sportsmanship and professionalism.
