1st Zainab Ali Memorial Ball Boys and Wheelchair Tennis

Karachi Tennis Association organized 1st Zainab Ali Memorial Ball Boys and Wheelchair Tennis Ranking Tournament at KPT Sports Complex.

The parents of Zainab Ali sponsored this tournament exclusivly for under previlaged segment of society.Zainab 16 year old sindh’s top junior girls player very unfortunately lost her life in Islamabad two months ago when she went there to take part in an international Juniors Tennis Tournament.

16 Wheelchair Tennis players and 15 Ball Boys took part in Singles Event.

Large number of Tennis fraternity ‘Zainab ‘ s Family and Olympic family attended the competetions.
The father of Zainab Ali Imam in his speech announced to make this Memorial Tournament ‘ annual event of STA ‘Tennis circuit .

Ahmed Ali Rajpoot offered to be partner of next Zaiab Ali Memorial Tennis tournament and suggested to invite players from all over province Sindh.

Muhammad Khalid Rehmani
President KTA highlighted the Zainab’s termedous potential and keen interest in Tennis .As she became Sindh top junior girls player and attained a position among top eight girls of country.

Rehmani also thanked Maj Mahmood for allowing KTA to hold the event at KPT Sports Complex.
Ishrat Zehra was the coordinator of events where as Sarwar Hussain ‘ Zubair Raja and Robin Das assisted her in organising the event in a befitting manner.
