5th Karachi Open Squash Championship 2025 Concludes at RKJK Squash Complex
Karachi – April 20, 2025: The 5th Karachi Open Squash Championship 2025 successfully concluded at the Roshan Khan Jahangir Khan (RKJK) Squash Complex, Karachi.
The two-day tournament featured 64 male and 24 female participants, delivering exciting matches and showcasing remarkable talent.
In the women’s final, Dammia Khan secured the title after defeating Anam Aziz 3-0, with scores of 11/5, 11/8 before Anam retired from the match (RTD).
The men’s final was a thrilling five-set encounter where Anas Khan edged out Naveed Rehman with a scoreline of 11/8, 11/9, 4/11, 10/12, 11/7. The match lasted 45 minutes and was a fitting climax to the championship.
The closing ceremony was graced by several distinguished guests including Shakeel Muhammad Paracha, Chief Manager, State Bank of Pakistan; Abdul Basit Shaikh, Chief Country Representative,
Mashreq Bank Pakistan Liaison Office; Mr. Muhammad Afzal, Assistant Manager, PN RKJK Squash Complex; and Muhammad Naveed Alam, Tournament Director.
The event served as a great platform for both emerging and experienced players and highlighted the continued growth of squash in Pakistan.
