35 county takes part in 12th Asian Indoor Athletic Championship,
Tianjin,China ; 35 county takes part in 12th Asian Indoor Athletic Championship-2026.
The Championship will start from Friday on February 6, at Tianjin,China.
This was stated by the Organizational delegate and Vice President, Asia Athletic Federation, Major General (Rtd) Muhammad Akram Sahi on Thursday.
He said that all arrangements of Championship have been finalized in the meeting held on Friday.
He said that 323 athletes of 35 countries of the Asia will take part in the Championship which will participate in the 26 men and women events.
The Championship will continue till February 8.
The Pakistani 5-members national team are taking part in the Championship namely, Shajar Abbas (60
metre), Tameen Khan (60 metre), Muhammad Naeem (60 metre Hurdles),
Muhammad Akhtar (3000 metre), Sohail Amer (1500 metre). Chaudhry Asghar Ali Gill will act as Manager cum Coach with the team.
