Dreamworld team wins Leisure Leagues Football’s International Children’s Day CUP 2020 title

Karachi: Dreamworld Team defeated Kiran Foundation Team on penalty shootout (3-1) to clinch Leisure Leagues International Children’s Day CUP 2020 small-sided Football title, which was held at Dreamworld Resort, Karachi to commemorate the International Children’s Day.

The match was a thrilling encounter between the two sides as after a goalless draw, the result was decided over a penalty shootout.

A total of three teams participated in the tournament. The teams were Dreamworld, Kiran Foundation and The Warriors.
However, due to The Warriors not showing up for the tournament, the other competing teams received walkover for their respective fixtures.

Shahzaib from Dreamworld Team was adjudged Best Player of the Tournament,

Asif Meraj Executive Manager & Maaz Khan Digital Media Manager from Leisure Leagues, and Tauseef Ali Baig Facility & Recreational Head, Abdul Samad HR Head, Khurram Shah CSD HEAD also attended the International Children’s Day Football Cup 2020 on behalf of the organizing bodies.
