KARACHI: In the second match of the Sindh Sports Board-Sports Journalists Association of Sindh Inter-media T20 cup, GNN TV comprehensively beat BOL News by 71 runs.
Batting first, at the eastern star cricket ground, GNN News cashed in on the opposing bowling line-up to great effect and posted a daunting tally of 216 runs in 20 overs. Adeel (65 off 33 balls), Kamran Hasan (61 off 42) and Yousuf (33 off 19) were the notable scorers.
In reply BOL News crumbled on 145 runs in 17.1 overs. Muhammad Ali held one end for a fighting half century however his dismissal for 54 off 47 deliveries sealed the fate for BOL News.
Razi ullah were the chief destroyer for GNN News with five wickets in 3.1 overs for 26 runs. He was declared man of the match.
SJAS Blues will face AAJ News in the next match on Wednesday.
