KARACHI: ARY Web outclassed Such TV by ten wickets to qualify for the semi final of the Sindh Sports Board-Sports Journalists Association of Sindh inter-media T20 cup.
GEO News sports, AAJ News and GNN News are the other outfits in the semi final phase.
Batting first, after winning the toss at the Eastern star cricket ground, Such TV couldn’t counter the tight bowling by ARY Web and bundled out for just 68 runs in 13.5 overs. Adnan Khan and Abu Bakar bagged three wickets each.
In reply ARY Web’s openers overhauled the target in just 4.3 overs. Badar Abidi hammed an unbeaten 56 off 18 while Babar Khan remained not out on 12.
Abu Bakar was declared man of the match.
In the first semi final on Friday GEO News sports will face ARY Web at the Annu Bhai park.
The second semi final match is scheduled between AAJ NEWS and GNN NEWS on Monday.
