Directorate sports will support KPFA in organizing tournament for promotion of futsall game: KP DG sports

PESHAWAR: Director General sports government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Asfandyar Khattak has said that government is bringing all available resources for the promotion sports activities in the province aimed at providing more and equal oppertunities for both male as well female player to enlighten the name of country in the world. He said that on the instruction of KP government directorate of sports had planned anf prepared a better policy for the sports promotion in all district including newly merged tribal districts of the province. He further said that KP sports department provided modern facilities to all all players without any discrimination while for eradications of financial crisis of the players the department had also introduced a system of competition among the players through which cash prizes and scholarships are awarded to players on their performance base. These veiws KP DG sports expressed during a meeting with delegation of Khybe Pakhtunkhwa Futsall Association. The delegation comprised of Arshad Khan, general secretary of the association, Ghani-ur-Rahman, media coordinator, Jamshed Baloch regional sports officer, Haji Malik Hidayat-ul-Haq, Ali Hoti, director sports Islamia College Peshawar. Asfandyar Khattak congratulated Arif Yousar the KPFA chairman and former member provincial assembly, Saifoor Khan, president and Arshad Khan for recently organizing a successful event of inter district futsall tournament and ensured full support of the provincial government in organizing such kind of futsall events in future.
He said that futsall game had been included in U-21 games. He ensured that all facilities as well as scholarship would be provided to medal winner players of futsall game, adding the sports directorate strived its best to arrange more tournaments and training camps for the futsall players aimed at promoting the game across the KP. He maintained that the said game had gained much fame among the sports lovers. He expressed his hope that the day is not far when players of futsall game will enlighten Pakistan name all over the world. Earlier, Arshad Khan, briefed the KP DG sports regarding the annual schedule of futsall competitions and its planing for the game promotion. Mr Asfandyar appreciated the KPFA for its activities. However, on the occasion shield was presented to DG sports on behalf of KPFA.
