The first case of corona virus has come to light in the National Women’s Football Championship 2021.
The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has confirmed that a Karachi United player tested positive for the corona virus.
According to the Pakistan Football Federation, the corona virus test of a player in the Karachi United team has come positive. After the corona virus test of the player came positive, the matches of Group B have been suspended for the time being.
The Pakistan Football Federation has directed Karachi United and its rival teams to conduct a full squad test.
Karachi Women FC and HEC, who are playing matches against Karachi United, have also been directed to test the squad.
Similarly, Sialkot FC, which is playing a match against Karachi WFC, has also been directed to conduct the test.
According to the spokesperson of the Pakistan Football Federation, the Pakistan Football Federation will provide financial support to the teams for testing. Group B matches will be suspended till the results of the test.
