The rehearsal of of upcoming Horse & Cattle Show Peace and Gymnastic events have started at National Hockey stadium on Sunday under the auspices of Sports and Youth Affairs Department Punjab.
Director General Sports Punjab Javed Chohan reviewed the rehearsal of National Horse & Cattle Show events and issued instructions to coaches to prepare their Peace and Gymnastic event contingents properly for the grand event of Horse and Cattle Show.
DG Sports Punjab Javed Chohan said that over 900 girls and boys will exhibit their skills in peace and gymnastic events during opening ceremony of Horse and Cattle Show. “The peace show will reflect that Pakistan is a peaceful country”.
Director General Sports Punjab Javed Chohan said that the historic Horse & Cattle Show has been revived after a gap of several years. “It has historic significance for us and truly reflect our culture and traditions”.
“The sports competitions of football, hockey, kabaddi, volleyball, wrestling and tug-of-war will be organized in connection with Horse & Cattle Show at Nishtar Park Sports Complex”.
The teams from all provinces will participate in sports competitions scheduled to be held in connection with Horse & Cattle Show at different venues of Nishtar Park Sports Complex from March 9 to 12, 2022.
He said the participation of provincial sports teams in Horse & Cattle Show will help a lot in the promotion of unity and harmony among people of Pakistan.
