Karachi Grammar School won the U-19 and U-17 titles in the National Inter-Schools Girls Netball Championship.
Habib School Karachi won the Under-15 title.
Islamabad (Nawaz Gohar ) Karachi Grammar School won the U-19 and U-17 titles while Habib School Karachi won the U-15 titles in the National Inter-Schools Girls Netball Championship. At the end of the championship,
the Chairman of Pakistan Netball Federation Captain Retired Zafar Iqbal Awan distributed trophies, medals and certificates among the players of the winning teams. On this occasion, Pakistan Netball Federation President Mudassir Arain, Vice President Samin Malik and Acting Secretary General Mohammad Riaz were also present in large number of fans. Gold medals were also distributed among the players of the national team who won the Hong Kong Challenge Cup.
Habib Girls School Karachi defeated Karachi Grammar School by 12-14 in the final of Girlsander 15 in the championship played at Liaquat Gymnasium yesterday.
In the final of Girlsander 17, Karachi Grammar School defeated City School PAF Chapter Karachi by 15-18 score.
In the final of Girlzander 19, Karachi Grammar School defeated Danish School Wahari by 9-18 score.
In the Girls U-15 third position match, Government Girls High School Hyderabad defeated APS Fort Road, Rawalpindi by 9 to 8 scores. In the Girls U-17 third position match, APS Fort Road, Rawalpindi defeated Govt Shah Latif Girls College Hyderabad by 8-18.
In the Girls U-19 third position match, City School, PAF Chapter, Karachi defeated Habib School Karachi by 12 to 9. 20 teams from across the country participated in the championship.
