FG/Din Polo clinch JPF Pink Polo Cup 2026 title in thrilling 7–6 final
LAHORE: FG/Din Polo were crowned champions of the JPF Pink Polo Cup 2026, sponsored by Valpaint by Master Paints, after edging out Din/FG Polo 7–6 in a thrilling final at Jinnah Polo Fields on Sunday.
The closely contested final, held on October 18, kept spectators engaged as both teams fought hard for the title. A large number of polo enthusiasts from Lahore attended the match,
which was also witnessed by Master Paints Directors Farooq Amin Sufi, Sufi Muhammad Haroon and Sufi Muhammad Hashim, along with Jinnah Polo Fields Club Secretary Major Adil Sultan Rao and a large gathering of polo players.
Kian Hall led FG/Din Polo’s charge with an impressive hat-trick, scoring three goals, while Farhad M Sheikh and Abbas Mukhtar contributed two goals apiece to secure the narrow victory.
Din/FG Polo mounted a strong challenge, with Raja Mikael Sami scoring three goals, Sheikh Muhammad Rafiq adding two and Zainab Kashif contributing one. Despite their efforts, Din/FG fell just short as FG/Din held on to their one-goal advantage to lift the coveted trophy.
Earlier, SQ Gold/Master Paints defeated Diamond Paints 8–5 in the subsidiary final to claim the subsidiary title. The two finals brought the JPF Pink Polo Cup 2026 to a competitive conclusion, showcasing the skills of the participating players and providing an exciting spectacle for polo fans at Jinnah Polo Fields.
