Babar equals Kohli’s world record for most century partnerships in T20 cricket

The milestone was achieved during a Pakistan Super League (PSL) fixture, where Babar Azam shared a prolific century stand with teammate Kusal Mendis. This feat marks the 47th hundred-run partnership of Babar’s T20 career.
With this achievement, Babar now stands level with India’s Virat Kohli, who also boasts 47 century stands. The two batting icons now jointly lead the global list for the highest number of hundred-run involvements in the shortest format of the game.
In addition to the global record, Babar Azam has further cemented his dominance in the local circuit. He now holds the unique distinction of recording the most century partnerships in PSL history, reaching a record-breaking total of 18 hundred-run stands in the tournament.
