Edinburgh to host ICC Annual Conference 2026; Jay Shah to preside over the session
By Nawaz Gohar ; The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially announced that its Annual Conference for this year will be held in Edinburgh, Scotland. The event is scheduled to take place from July 8 to July 11, as confirmed during a recent online board meeting.
The session will be presided over by ICC Chairman Jay Shah. The high-profile gathering is timed to follow immediately after the conclusion of the ICC Women’s World Cup,
which is slated to be held in England between June 12 and July 5. Most ICC members and delegates, who are expected to attend the World Cup final at Lord’s, will travel directly to Scotland for the conference.
Among the various routine administrative matters on the agenda, a significant highlight of the Edinburgh meeting will be the election of the Associate Board Directors.
The four-day conference serves as a critical platform for member nations to discuss the global growth of the sport, financial structures, and upcoming international tournament cycles.
