Hyderabad Kingsmen Host Grand Reception in Honour of Pakistan Ju-Jitsu Team
Karachi: The management of Hyderabad Kingsmen hosted a prestigious reception in honour of the Pakistan Ju-Jitsu team following their historic performance at the recently held Senior Asian Ju-Jitsu Championship in Sri Lanka.
The national team delivered an extraordinary performance, securing 12 gold, 5 silver, and 5 bronze medals — an achievement widely regarded as a landmark in Pakistan’s ju-jitsu history. The scale and dominance of this success not only set a new benchmark but also reaffirm Pakistan’s emergence as a formidable force in international ju-jitsu.
The ceremony was attended by senior officials of Hyderabad Kingsmen, team management, athletes, and distinguished guests. A formal dinner was also hosted in recognition of the team’s accomplishments, where the national heroes received a warm and enthusiastic .
Speaking on the occasion, the directors of Hyderabad Kingsmen stated that the organization remains committed to supporting and promoting talented athletes who represent Pakistan at national and international levels. They emphasized that continued patronage is essential for the development of sports and nurturing young talent across the country.
Secretary of the Pakistan Ju-Jitsu Association, Mr. Tariq Ali, expressed his gratitude to Hyderabad Kingsmen for the honour and appreciation extended to the team. He remarked that such initiatives play a vital role in boosting the morale of athletes and motivating them to achieve even greater success. He described the team’s achievement as a moment of pride for the entire nation.
Notable attendees included Director Operations Iqra Farooqi, Director Franchise Salman Abbasi, Head of Operations Alvi, along with prominent personalities such as Sharjeel Khan and Saim Ayub, among others.
On this occasion, Secretary General of the Pakistan Ju-Jitsu Federation, Mr. Tariq Ali, presented commemorative souvenirs to the directors of Hyderabad Kingsmen on behalf of the federation.
The event concluded with a renewed commitment from the management of Hyderabad Kingsmen to continue extending full support to national athletes and to play an active role in the promotion of sports in Pakistan.
