Pakistan Football Federation President Highlights the role of Departments in National Football.
Mr. Syed Mohsen Gilani, PFF emphasized the vital role that departmental sports play in the development of Pakistan’s athletic talent and national pride.
“Departments have always been the backbone of Pakistan’s sporting success,” stated Mr. Gilani. “Their contribution in nurturing talent, fostering discipline, and promoting healthy competition is unmatched. They are the foundation upon which our national sports achievements are built.”
He further highlighted the importance of revitalizing departmental football: “Reviving and supporting departmental teams is crucial for Pakistan’s future in football. The recent National Games, where all finalists represented different departments, clearly demonstrate their pivotal role in shaping our athletes and inspiring young talent across the country.”
The President PFF expressed confidence in the federation’s ongoing efforts: “Our focus remains on strengthening departmental sports programs, organizing competitive events, and providing a platform for talented athletes to excel. By doing so, we aim to build a vibrant sporting culture that brings pride and recognition to Pakistan.”
He concluded with an optimistic outlook: “Together, with the support of all stakeholders, we can elevate Pakistan football to new heights and create a legacy of excellence for generations to come.”
He finally said that the departments are the main pillars for Pakistan Football, and we are eager to organize departmental competitions in the future.
