PSL Blow: Zaman Khan suffers shoulder dislocation, participation uncertain

By Nawaz Gohar ;  Pakistani fast bowler Zaman Khan sustained a shoulder injury during the National T20 tournament, leaving his participation in the upcoming season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) shrouded in uncertainty.

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Zaman Khan was injured during a match between Peshawar and Faisalabad when he suffered a shoulder dislocation, requiring immediate medical attention and treatment.

The Cricket Board stated that Zaman Khan has been directed to report to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore, where the board’s medical panel will conduct a thorough examination and devise a rehabilitation plan for his recovery.

According to officials, Zaman Khan’s full recovery could take four to six weeks, making his availability for the Pakistan Super League highly uncertain.

It is worth noting that Zaman Khan was part of the Rawalpindi squad for the PSL, and his potential absence could serve as a major blow to the team.

Cricket analysts suggest that shoulder injuries are considered a sensitive issue for fast bowlers, and returning to the field without a full recovery could pose further risks to the player’s career.
