Pakistan is struggling to avoid defeat against England in the Southampton Test. The game was once again affected due to rain and only 56 overs could be bowled on the fourth day. On the fourth day of the third Test Pakistan have scored 100 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in their second innings and have to score another 210 runs to avoid an innings defeat. Team captain Azhar Ali (29) and Babar Azam (4) are on the crease.
In the first innings, the host England had given a target of 583 runs, in response to which the national team was bowled out for 273 runs. England’s first victory came at 49 when Shaun Masood was dismissed for 18 off Chris Broad.
Abid Ali also returned to the pavilion after scoring 42 runs on a total score of 88. He was dismissed by James Anderson. English bowlers will have to face tomorrow to avoid.
