Reads College wins Leisure Leagues Quaid’s Day Football CUP 2020 title

Karachi: Reads College defeated Abdullah Academy (3-1) to clinch Leisure Leagues Quaid’s Day Football Cup 2020 in a thrilling small-sided football game which was held at Dreamworld Resort, Karachi to commemorate Quaid Day. The match displayed talent from not only within the city but from other regions as well. The runner-up team Abdullah Academy joined from Khuzdar, Baluchistan to participate in the Leisure Leagues Quaid’s Day Football Cup 2020.

A total of eight teams participated in the tournament. The teams were Alpha Collage, Reads College, Tabahi United, KNFC, Akakhail FC, Abdullah Academy, Dreamworld Gladiators and Dreamworld Titans.

Imran from Reads College was adjudged for the Golden Boot Award of the tournament for scoring 4 goals in the tournament and driving his team to win the title. Meanwhile Talal Shahid was nominated as the Best Goalkeeper from Dreamworld Gladiators for keeping clean sheets throughout the tournament.

Pakistan Football National Team former skipper Kaleem Ullah was the chief guest. CEO Dreamworld Resort Mr. Irfan Hilal, and Director of World Group Brig. Nusrat Hayat were the guests of honor on the occasion.

Asif Meraj Executive Manager & Maaz Khan Digital Media Manager from Leisure Leagues and Talha Jafry Marketing Manager, Tauseef Ali Baig Facility & Recreational Head, Khuram Shah CSD head also attended the Quaid’s Cup 2020 on behalf of the organizing bodies.
